In part II of our Foil Tech Talk Series, we sat down with Noah and Andrew to discuss the all new Siren front wing.
"The Siren comes in an aspect ratio ranging from 8.2 to 8.5, features a strongly swept LE, a consistent anhedral that softens to the tips and a more centered distribution area that keeps the forces in line with the mast. This keeps the foil super comfortable to ride.
The moderately high camber foil section gives the Siren good low end to get you up on foil early and enough pump and glide to connect between waves and progress you through tacks and gybes.
We built the Siren to be the best foil for wind-powered disciplines in our range. The smaller sizes are tuned for high-performance ripping loads of pop for freestyle maneuvers and a cruising speed designed to keep you in the perfect spot, surf foiling or on wind bumps to link turns.
The larger sizes are tuned to be a bit more comfortable to push and progress your foiling with great turning, but more focused on stability and control.
This makes the siren a great option for riders of all levels looking to push the envelope of their foiling. If you are looking to add some efficiency and glide to the Siren, pair it with the E-series stabilizer or pair it with the S-series stabilizer to maintain a stable surfier set up.
Designed specifically for control in critical situations, it features a medium-aspect outline with an 8.2 to 8.5 AR. It’s a foil that truly excels in disciplines demanding both stability and maneuverability.
The Siren is engineered with a high-camber foil section and a strong sweep in the leading edge. These features work together to boost maneuverability and lower your stall speed, providing exceptional stability whether you’re pushing the limits in freestyle or progressing as an intermediate rider.
By utilizing our new Aluα connection system, the Siren receives a 30% increase in connection stiffness over our previous Legacy system. With a larger cross-sectional area and a sleeker profile, it offers a more direct feel than ever before.
To maximize these characteristics, we recommend pairing the Siren with an S-Series stabilizer. However, if you're looking to unlock more efficiency, the E-Series stabilizer is a great choice. The Siren: designed for confidence and control in every session. Check it out."
