In part one of our foiling tech talk series, we sat down with designers Noah and Andrew to discuss the 2026 Foil Range. Let's kick things off with the Excalibur Front Wing.

"When we began the development of the Excalibur we wanted to focus on achieving better low end, pump efficiency while maintaining a fun and dynamic turn.

The Excalibur range comes out to a moderately high aspect ratio of 10.2. It has a semi-swept outline with a straighter LE through the center 3rd of the foil and more sweep through the wingtip section. It also has a high cambered foil section providing great low acceleration and a wide speed range.

The wingtips have a strong dihedral sweep increasing the angle that the wingtip pierces the water at. Helping flow stay attached, preventing tip ventilations and adding to the ease of roll of the foils.

Constructed with high modulus carbon, these features work together to boost your glide, lower your stall speed, and improve overall feedback—making it easy to size down your foil.

We built the Excalibur to be a cross-discipline staple in our range with enough pump and projection for downwind, enough maneuverability for surfing foiling and wave riding, and lots of stability and control for wingfoiling. This makes it a great choice for any rider who looks for fast foil with plenty of glide that they can still rip turn on.

You can tune the feel of the Excalibur to your specific style: pair it with an E-Series stabilizer to maximize your efficiency, speed and glide, or switch to the S-Series if you want a surfier, more maneuverable feel.

The Excalibur, Naish’s new high-aspect front wing, was designed as the successor to the Jet HA. This foil is capable of gliding effortlessly in all conditions. It’s built for riders looking for that perfect balance of high-end glide and maneuverability across multiple disciplines.

The Excalibur features a high-aspect outline with a 10.2 AR and a high-camber foil section. Constructed with high modulus carbon, these features work together to boost your glide, lower your stall speed, and improve overall feedback—making it easier than ever to size down your wing.

To keep your ride stable, we’ve added a strong dihedral sweep in the tips to increase ventilation resistance. And, utilizing our new Aluα connection system, the Excalibur sees a 30% increase in connection stiffness over our Legacy system, providing a much more direct feel underfoot.

You can tune the Excalibur to your specific style: pair it with an E-Series stabilizer to maximize your speed and glide, or switch to the S-Series if you want a surfier, more maneuverable feel. The Excalibur: effortless glide and total control. Check it out."

Next up, we'll break down what we made the Siren for.
