GENERAL PRODUCT QUESTIONS
Q. How do I choose a foil that is right for me?
A. We have compiled some information, charts, and videos to help you choose and customize your foil set up. Please visit our Naish Foil Guide for all the info regarding foils and sizing across all our model years.
Q. Will my foil parts fit other parts from different model years?
A. Yes! All foil all foil parts are modular and are compatible year-to-year. One exception is the rear stabilizer has changed for 2020 and will require a back wing adapter to mount 2020 stabilizers on 2019 and older fuselages. Additionally 2019 and older stabilizers will not mount to the 2020 fuselage. For more information on this, please refer to our Naish Foil Guide.
Q. I would like to get more information on board dimensions
A. We try to provide all the information you would need on the individual product pages. However, if you are still in need of information, here are some links to our board dims sheets:
Q. I am looking for a board bag to fit my sweet Naish board
A. Over the years we have found that customers have specific tastes when it comes to board bags. Handle or strap, liner, travel, multiple board, single board, fin slit, not fin slit. The options are endless.
Therefore, we have a limited variety of board bags available. For most of our boards, we suggest finding a custom board bag maker. Some that we suggest are below:
- Airwave in San Francisco, CA - http://www.airwavesf.com/surfing.html
- Vitamin Blue in Costa Mesa, CA - https://vitaminblue.com/
SUP PRODUCT QUESTIONS
Q. How should I care for my Inflatable Naish SUP?
A. Our double-walled boards are some of the stiffest on the market and therefore don’t need inflating past the recommended amount.
When not in use, we recommend storing your inflatable SUP in a cool and dry location safe from the elements. If storing for a few hours, we suggest partially deflating it and bringing it under the shade and out of the sun. Direct sunlight will expand the volume of the air in the board, causing it to pop.
Q. How should I care for my Composite Naish SUP?
A. For more information on how to care for your composite SUP and paddles, please refer to our SUP User Guide
Q. How do I insert the fin into my SUP?
A. Inserting the fin into a US box can be tricky if it’s your first time. Make sure you have your fin tab & screw on hand. If you need to order a new fin tab & screw, we have them available here.
Check out this video by SUPboarder which explains the process
Note: For some inflatable boards, the fin will be a snug fit the first few times. Feel free to use a little bit of force to get the fin in the box.
Q. I need fins for my Naish SUP board
A. Majority of our board use the US box or FCS box. You can check out our fin selection here.
For older Naish soft tops boards with screw in fins, you can find replacement fins here.
