The concept

01 Product information The Edge is our freeride, wave, and freestyle hybrid sail. The Edge sits between a freeride and a wave sail, featuring a price-point construction that leans more toward our freeride range while remaining durable enough for small waves and freestyle sessions. It performs exceptionally well in everything from flat water to onshore and side-onshore conditions, making it an excellent choice for riders who prefer a more powerful, drive-oriented sail. One of the Edge's biggest strengths is its impressive low-end power. Thanks to the Dacron luff panel, the sail gets planing early while delivering a forgiving, easy-to-handle feel. Overall, the Edge is a well-balanced sail that performs confidently across a wide range of conditions. For this year, we've kept the same proven outline but updated the material layout. By using more monofilm and less X-Ply, the sail is now more responsive and noticeably stiffer than the previous version. The main body is primarily monofilm, while the foot panel is reinforced with X-Ply for added durability and impact resistance. The Edge features a single clew ring and standard batten pockets. It is available in sizes ranging from 4.0 to 6.5 m². The ideal rider is someone looking for one sail that can do it all—from flat-water blasting and choppy inland lakes to small ocean waves and it's also an excellent choice for freestyle riders.
