01 Product information The Hookipa Quad is our most performance-driven wave board, built for demanding conditions, from the biggest days on Maui to stormy, powerful surf in Europe. It is made for riders who want maximum control when the wave face is fast and the wind is strong.The Hookipa Quad comes in a refreshed, more progressive shape, and we added a new larger 106L size to bring Hookipa performance to more riders and more conditions. It performs best in side-shore and down-the-line waves where you want speed, grip, and control through committed turns. It also does surprisingly well in side-onshore conditions when the water is rougher and the wind is less clean.The rail design is tuned to drive through the bottom turn even in chop, and then release cleanly in the top turn without the board feeling sticky.
