Hookipa Quad

The Hookipa Quad is our most performance-driven wave board, built for demanding conditions, from the biggest days on Maui to stormy, powerful surf in Europe. It is made for riders who want maximum control when the wave face is fast and the wind is strong.

The Hookipa Quad comes in a refreshed, more progressive shape, and we added a new larger 106L size to bring Hookipa performance to more riders and more conditions. It performs best in side-shore and down-the-line waves where you want speed, grip, and control through committed turns. It also does surprisingly well in side-onshore conditions when the water is rougher and the wind is less clean.

The rail design is tuned to drive through the bottom turn even in chop, and then release cleanly in the top turn without the board feeling sticky. This year we narrowed the tail and refined the rocker line and bottom shape to increase control and precision, letting you push harder while staying locked in.

Quad fin control

Quad fin setup delivers fast acceleration and strong grip on the wave face. You get drive through the bottom and top turn and confidence when you push harder while waveriding.

Refined rocker line

Updated rocker balances speed with powerful surf. You stay composed when the wave gets faster and the water gets rough.

Narrowed tail outline

A narrower tail increases bite and precision in critical sections. You can set the rail earlier and hold a tighter line through the pocket.
