Naish’s Danish Viking Powers To 2nd In Bilbao
Naish’s Casper Steinfath and his Naish Javelin 12’6” LE descended upon the city of Bilbao, Spain to participate in the Bilbao World SUP Challenge this past weekend.
During the short course Sprints on Day 1, Casper maintained his fine form this season by conserving his energy buoy after buoy while paddling like a machine to take out the sprint event in impressive fashion.
Still stoked from his Sprint win on Saturday, Casper kept his foot on the gas during the 13km race up and down the main river in Bilbao. The race started right in front of the epic Guggenheim Museum building where Casper was in the front pack throughout the race, battling for position and gunning for victory. Coming into the closing leg, he was still in the leading pack but had to settle for 6th place in the long distance.
Overall, with his 1st in the Sprints and 6th in Distance, the Danish Viking powered his way to 2nd overall for the event. Yet another strong performance! Way to push it to the max Casper!
