August 30-31, 2014 – The 3rd and final SUPSA Waveriding Tour stop went down this past weekend and Naish’s Ethan Koopmans didn’t disappoint!
Ethan and his Naish 8’0” Hokua LE sliced and diced their way through 1-4 foot waves and placed 3rd in the Juniors final. This finish combined with his two previous SUPSA Tour event wins this season resulted in him honored with the 2014 Overall Juniors Title!
Ethan also managed to reach the Open final where he managed to round out the podium in 3rd, resulting in a 3rd Overall (Open) finish for the year. We can’t wait to see Ethan make his mark in the Open category next year as he exits the junior ranks!
Naish’s Peter Peterson also represented in the Legends category, finishing 4th for the event and 3rd Overall for the 2014 season on his Naish 8’10” Hokua LE.
