Alex Middeler

Growing up in Germany, it’s always been my dream to become a pro kiter. I‘ve always loved surfing but there are pretty much no conditions for that at the German Baltic Sea. With a kite you can have a lot of fun in all kinds of conditions and kiting has so many different ways to express yourself. Since my first stay in Cape Town end of 2020, I started training to become one of the best riders in the strapless division. I feel like I still have a lot of room to grow but I’m on a good path and can’t wait to push my limits.

Other Hobbies

I love surfing. Sometimes I go for a run or to the gym to stay fit. It’s quite easy to convince me for any sport, I just enjoy being outside and staying active.
