The final event of the 2012 Stand Up World Series will take place this weekend at Oahu’s Turtle Bay. Presented by Naish, the contest boasts $15,000 in prize money and the prestigious World Title from this inaugural season. Tension is mounting as this years exciting racing season will come to a close. Team Naish will be strongly represented with Kai Lenny, Kody Kerbox, Noa Ginella, Casper Steinfath and Jake Jensen.
The pressure is on for Kai Lenny, who will be wearing the yellow jersey coming into the finals at Turtle Bay. Another paddler to watch out for is Kody Kerbox, who is on a phenomenal run over the past few months. North Shore talent Noa Ginella will be looking to shine once again at home. “Naish Viking” Casper Steinfath, runner-up at the 2012 SUP 11 City tour, will be there as well Australian Jake Jensen.
