Naish South Africa is excited to welcome Carl Ferreira and Simone Swanepoel to their team!
Simone Swanepoel hails from Cape Town, SA and was introduced to kiteboarding in 2010. She has been kiting for 3 years and is already showing tons of promise to the sport. This year she competed in the SAKT (South African Kiteboarding Tour) claiming the overall women’s title. She competes in all three disciplines: freestyle, wave riding and course racing.
Carl Ferreira also represents Cape Town, SA and started kiteboarding in 2010. He has placed impressively in numerous competitions, including 3rd overall in the 2013 Langebaan Downwind Dash (the largest kiteboard race event in the world) and 5th overall in the South African Kiteboarding Tour in 2012/13.
