The 2nd leg of the SunBum SUP Series took place on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at tranquil Lomakeskus Sieravuori, the venue for the upcoming European Cup event.
The six heat Slalom and 8 km Long Distance events were completed in perfect conditions with groups of participants smiling across the finish line. The event was won by Naish’s Christian Sandoval and supported by 3rd place finisher, Naish’s Ville Vihmari. Naish Finland’s newest team rider Santeri Rahikka, also took the win in the Junior’s Division.
Finland’s first ever N1SCO event was also held during race day where paddlers of all ages and abilities participated and enjoyed the variety of races held on the Naish ONE 12’6” Inflatable SUP! Big congrats goes out to Naish’s Ville Vihmari who took the overall win!
