For Part VI (and the last segment) of our Foil Tech Talk Series, we wanted to take some time to compare our new Carbon and Carbon HM Masts. We sat down with Noah and Andrew for a quick chat about what makes the 2026 masts stand out from other years.

"For 2026, our carbon mast lineup received updates to its construction. Both masts retained their exceptional bending stiffness while seeing an increase of 13% in torsional stiffness. The standard carbon mast is a notable upgrade over our Aluminum mast, but for riders who demand the most direct feel possible, they should look towards our High Modulus Carbon Mast

Both masts share a short 115 mm chord and a 15.5 mm thickness at their minimums. This design reduces drag when you’re riding high on the mast and dramatically improves maneuverability without sacrificing the rigidity you need to push hard.

The Standard Carbon comes in versatile 75 cm and 85 cm sizes. However, if you go with the HM Carbon, we’ve added a new 80 cm size alongside the 75 and 85, so you can perfectly tailor your setup to your conditions."

That closes out the 2026 Foil Tech Talk Series. The Standard Carbon and HM Carbon masts share the same slim profile, the same stiffer construction, and the same direct connection from your board to your foil. The difference is how dialed you want the response. Standard Carbon for riders stepping up from aluminum and chasing a real upgrade. HM Carbon for riders who want every input answered the instant they make it.
