Naish Greece announces the 3rd Hellenic SUP CUP 2013. The CUP consists of 5 stops throughout Greece. The first 4 stops will be the qualifying races for the final stop, which will take place inside the historic Corinth Canal.

  • The 1st stop will be at Andros Aegean Island on 7 July 2013. The beautiful island is 2 hours away from Athens and has the strongest SUP racing team, winning 1st and 2nd place at last year’s SUP CUP.
  • The 2nd stop will be in Loutsa on 28 July 2013, the best windsurfing, kiteboarding and SUPing spot in Athens. This race is always difficult and hard due to the strong blowing winds.
  • The 3rd stop will occur on the non-sleeping island of Ios, also in Aegean Sea, at the famous Mylopotas Beach on 24-25 August 2013, and will be combined with the spectacular local “Beach Games”, promising an unforgotten weekend.
  • The 4th stop is the last chance for the competitors to qualify for the final. The date of the race is 29 September 2013 and will also happen in Loutsa.

On October 20th the final race is the SUP Speed Crossing of the Corinth Canal. The race will be a SUP celebration and a unique experience for all competitors who will have the opportunity to cross the 6.5 km canal on their paddleboards. The Greek Authorities will stop the ship traffic for only 2 hours and it is the only exception they do all year long.

We remind you that Hellenic SUP CUP does not refer only to Pro Racers, but also to amateurs and SUP friends, regardless of age, gender and equipment.
