Naish SUP Hellenic Cup 2012
Final Stop: ISTHMUS SPEED CROSSING – Nov. 4th, 2012
A unique SUP event happened on Sunday, November 4th in Greece. 65 athletes experienced the crossing of the historic Corinth Canal, paddling the turquoise waters, passing ancient (602 b.c.) hand crafted stones, feeling the awe of the imposing 80m vertical walls, with their goal set straight at the other side of the 6,350m long channel. Naish riders dominated this spectacular event. Shipping traffic was stopped for 2 hours while the race was under way. All paddlers had to earn their place in the event by participating in the four qualifying stops of the Naish SUP Hellenic Cup throughout Greece. Congratulations to everyone!
